描述
The thermal circuit breaker TCB control the braking resistor against permanent
overload and protects against short circuit in the supply or in the braking
resistor. The setting range of the thermal circuit breaker must be selected so that
it corresponds to the tripping current IF of the braking
resistor. The switch responds to the following
events: ? Thermal overload due to current
monitoring. ? Short
circuit. In the event of a fault, the thermal breaker switches off the braking
resistor. The fault that has occurred is signaled via potential-free normally open
and normally closed contacts. After the fault has been eliminated, the thermal breaker
can be reconnected like a normal circuit breaker.
The thermal circuit breaker is mounted on DIN.
